1:1 Coaching

I approach each coaching engagement with you as the individual client in mind. While I provide a structure and a process, the true agenda is set by you and your needs and goals. My role is to provide support and encouragement, while being a sounding board and accountability partner. I recommend starting each coaching engagement with a detailed MBTI (Myers-Briggs) assessment as I believe it can accelerate your moments of personal clarity, in addition to serving as a roadmap for our time together.

What to expect:

  • Sessions via Skype or phone

  • 12 session engagement recommended (twice-monthly for 6 months), but shorter engagements are available for those who need specific, targeted support (see below for single session options)

  • Weekly session option also available

  • Text and email support

  • Option to incorporate additional MBTI reports or FIRO-B assessment

  • Due to my background in career development and student affairs, I love working with college students and recent graduates and am happy to tailor an engagement that focuses more on academic advising or career counseling. I also offer cover letter and resume review and interview prep for anyone in transition.

To get started, schedule a complimentary 15 minute exploratory call. We’ll discuss your general goals and what you hope to get out of coaching. We’ll also cover my process and what you can expect in a coaching engagement. If we both decide that working together would be a good fit - great!

MBTI® Assessments

As a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Step I and Step II Certified Practitioner, I am qualified to provide delivery and interpretation of the MBTI assessment. In addition, I am a MBTI Master Practitioner, meaning that I have demonstrated an advanced level of experience and knowledge in the usage of the MBTI assessment.

While no one assessment can provide an absolute picture of you as as individual, the MBTI assessment provides a great jumping off point for greater clarity and self-awareness.  If you are new Myers-Briggs, the “mini” MBTI session provides a general overview and introduction, along with a basic interpretive report of your personal MBTI results.

For those who are not yet ready to pursue a full coaching engagement, I also offer single-session Myers-Briggs based coaching (includes MBTI assessment).

  • 30 minute "mini" MBTI session focused on providing a general introduction to Myers-Briggs and answering any questions about your results (includes basic MBTI Step I report)

  • 60 minute MBTI debrief and coaching session (includes in-depth MBTI Step II report)

  • Sessions via Skype or phone

I also provide consultation and content design services for leadership and professional development needs, with a specialized focus on the creation of full-scale leadership development programs. I care deeply about leadership development, and I am interested in what it means to truly be a good leader (in any role and at any level) and in what we can and should do to cultivate those traits in ourselves and others. Projects requiring on-site meetings are restricted to the greater Seattle area. Examples of the type of work I have experience with:

  • Leadership development programs

  • Promotional practice guidelines

  • Role delineation

  • Employee engagement initiatives

  • Emerging leaders / High-Potential programs

  • Team building

  • Mentoring programs

  • Talent management
